Guild Guidelines

Guild Chat

- Use the guild channel for guild chat, not one-on-one conversations. Use /whispers for what they are for.

- Adult language is allowed, but use common sense to know when it is and is not appropriate. All members invited must be at least 18 years of age. Maturity and moderation is expected.

- Fighting between members is at no time appropriate for guild chat. Take it to /whispers, or into a custom channel with an Officer or the Guild Leader for resolution.

- Excessive and unsolicited bragging is frowned upon. In the case of damage meters, they are to be kept out of guild chat in most situations.

- Members unable to follow these simple rules will be demoted to "Time Out" until they are ready to use guild chat appropriately. This rank has guild chat listen rights only.

- Be considerate to each other (in and outside the guild), in any channel.

- The anonimity of the internet does not make it ok to cease being civil. Members who consistently demonstrate poor personal relation skills will find themselves guildless. Similarly, always conduct yourself in a manner which will serve to boost the reputation of <Reagent Vendor>, rather than detract from it.

HELP US HELP YOU

- If you need help, do the leg work. Don't expect help if you don't bother to research how to accomplish your goals on your own. In the same vien, new members who join and need help should make it a point to first help others.

- Cooperation between everyone in the guild is expected.

- Grouping with fellow Members is always encouraged (Soloing is fine from time to time but an effort should be made to team up with fellow guild members).

- If you have a gathering profession, deposit some materials in the Guild Bank. If you have a crafting profession, make your services available to the guild.

- Under no circumstances should guild members be charging other guild members for crafting services. Tipping is not acceptable, though appreciated. If you feel the need to tip someone place the money or tip items in the guild bank to help with repairs and purchasing of Guild Needs.

- Begging for gold or items WILL NOT be tolerated and is grounds for immediate removal.

- Members who loan other members gold or items do so at their own risk. The Guild Leader and Officers will not become involved in these types of private disputes unless it hinders raid performance or causes unnecessary issues. At which point leadership will step in and one or all parties may either be placed On Notice or in extreme circumstances removed.

- Ninja Looting any item for any reason will not be tolerated.

WE ARE NOT AN ESCORT SERVICE

- When each member was invited, with the exception of casual players, it was based on the fact that they are at the maximum level available.

- We encourage members to focus on thier main character. Playing alts is great, but do not expect much response when you ask in guild chat for a run through WC.

VISIT THE SITE, USE THE FORUMS

- Event sign ups, member voting and news and announcements are all made on http://reagentvendor.zuild.net. In addition, we prefer that major guild discussions are brought to the forums rather than having them in guild chat. Visit often to stay up on current events and to have fun chatting and voicing your opinion in the forums.

LOOT RULES
DKP System

- <Reagent Vendor> Operates on a private bidding DKP system for raids.

- All characters have equal priority on loot. If no bids are recieved the item is DE'd or vendored for the guild bank. No priority consideration will be officially given for spec. If you want a piece of gear and can equip it and have the points, you spend the points. It is up to the players to show consideration for your fellow members when bidding on gear.

- Each character gets its own pool of points. In the event that the raid leader asks you to bring a different character than you originally signed up with, you will have the option of placing the points won from that raid on the character of your choice.

- Points are awarded to each character in attendance (and those on stand-by) per epic item dropped by a boss, and also awarded 3 DKP every 15 minutes from the time of first pull.

- Current loot values are as follows:

10 Man Raids:

4 Quarter Naxx Bosses - 5 DKP
Vault - First boss - 5 DKP
OS/OS-1D - 5 DKP
Naxx - Saph/KT - 10 DKP
Vault - New Boss - 15 DKP
OS-2D/3D - 10 DKP
EoE - 10 DKP
Ulduar - 10 DKP

25 Man Raids:

4 Quarter Naxx Bosses - 10 DKP
Vault - First boss - 10 DKP
OS/OS-1D - 10 DKP
Naxx - Saph/KT - 20 DKP
Vault - New Boss - 30 DKP
OS-2D/3D - 20 DKP
EoE - 20 DKP
Ulduar - 20 DKP

- The Raid Leader (or person assigned to handle loot) will announce each item, one at a time, in raid chat to request bids.

- Players who want a particular item send the word "!bid <amount you wish to bid in numeric values>" to the raid leader.

- Example: /t Sedona !bid 335

- Once your bid has been received you will get an automated response with your bid confirmation.

- Players may bid on any gear they wish provided it is equipable.

- BoP recipies will first be rewarded to the appointed Guild Crafters then be randomed on by those who can use, highest wins. No points are awarded for these drops.

- Points are awarded to each character in stand-by status every 15 minutes from first pull and when a boss is killed. To qualify as a substitute you must be signed-up for the raid, meet the minimum requirements, on time for the event start and asked to sit out due to class needs. When a boss is killed you must also be online and available to respond to a ready check. The raid leader may call random ready checks at his/her discretion to determine substitute availability. Failure to respond to any ready check will result in forfeiture of points for the current raid and you will be promptly removed from the raid, unless otherwise cleared by the raid leader prior to missing the ready check.

- Each member is responsible for checking his/her dkp and making sure it is correct. If you spot a mistake please contact an Officer or Sedona to get it corrected. The DKP site is http://www.webdkp.com/... and can also be accessed by clicking the DKP Navigation link across the top of the guild website.

- DKP is only used for scheduled raids with sign-ups. DKP will never apply to impromptu events or fun runs.

GENERAL LOOT RULES

- All official <Reagent Vendor> raids will operate under Master Looter. This includes 10-mans.

- All BoE drops on raids will be master looted and sent to the guild bank for the purpose of bolstering guild bank funds. This, along with selling disenchants will serve as the main revenue, which in turn is used for guild repairs.

- Loot from impromptu events or fun runs will be distributed via random /rolls. The loot master will link each item in /raid and call RTU (Roll to Use). Highest wins.

- Spec priority is given for randomed loot. Those in attendance whose current spec matches the loot's intended usage will have first priority. This includes players who respeced in order to facilitate that raid's success. This does not include players who respec on a daily basis in an attempt to build 20 gear sets. You are expected to attend raids in a spec based appropriately on your best set of gear unless otherwise asked by an officer or raid leader.

LOOT RULES FOR GUILD 5 MAN INSTANCES/HEROICS & EXPECTED PuG BEHAIVIOR

- Greed all greens and Frozen Orb (or equivalent)

- Need Blues and Purples if you need them. Greed if you can DE and the party agrees. Pass otherwise.

- /Roll at the end of the run for all disenchanted mats.

<REAGENT VENDOR> GUILD BANK POLICY

- Guild Bank gold shall be used for repairing Raider's gear after raid and purchasing raid consumables. Only Officers and above have direct withdrawal rights. Such withdrawals must be made for the purpose of benefiting the guild (i.e. Buying raw materials to make consumables which get put back into the bank) and not for personal use.

- Members may request a guild bank gold withdrawal via tell or in-game email to the Guild Leader so long that its usage is guild-centric and not personal. Such requests can be granted/denied at the Guild Leader's discretion.

- All members who earn and maintain the rank of raider will have access to guild repair. The amount of gold available increases per rank (Raider, Core Raider, Trial Officer, Officer, Guild Leader). Guild repair for the Raider ranks is "Always-On", but its use is only allowed after official 25 man raids. This will be closely monitored and guild repair abuse will result in the following penalties:

* First offense - Warning (whispers/email) Your one free pass.
* 2nd offense - 1 month demotion to Casual, repay guild bank for the amount repaired.
* 3rd offense - permanent demotion to Casual, repay guild bank for the amount repaired.

- All non-raider ranks do not receive guild repair. Once you meet the raider requirements you will be promoted and gain this privilege.

- Bank tabs will be designated for the following:

Depository

Deposit by members. The Guild Leader will organize all deposited items as appropriate. This tab will contain any items not fitting any other category. This tab will not have Raider withdrawal rights, if you need an item from this tab send a request via tell or e-mail to an Officer or the Guild Leader.

Consumables

High level consumables. These will be primarily for raiding usage. This tab will have limited withdrawal rights for Raiders and above, and deposit rights for all ranks. If you need additional items from this tab send a request via tell or e-mail to an Officer or the Guild Leader.

Glyphs and Gems and related items. This tab will have limited withdrawl rights for Officers and above, and deposit rights for all ranks. This tab will not have Raider withdrawal rights, if you need an item from this tab send a request via tell or e-mail to an Officer or the Guild Leader.

Materials

Profession usable raw materials. First priority for using these items will be for crafting consumables for the consumables tab. Secondary priority for raw materials will be for enchanting or crafting item enhancements at a discounted rate for Raider status and above provided it is a Tier 8 or higher item. This tab will have limited withdrawl rights for Officers and above, and deposit rights for all ranks. This tab will not have Raider withdrawal rights, if you need an item from this tab send a request via tell or e-mail to an Officer or the Guild Leader.

- Items sold from the guild bank to members will be sold at a 50% discount of current Auction House value to bolster guild bank funds.

- Low priority items from the bank will be periodically sold to bolster guild bank funds.

RAID RULES

Scheduling and Sign-ups

- All official guild raids will be posted as events on the calander on the website and the in-game Calander.

- Leaders will use all available options for announcing raids and other events. Please visit the site and forums often, as there is never enough space in the Guild MoTD for all important information.

- If you want to raid, and your schedule is free, enter your character as "Signed Up", even if the sign-ups appear full, on the Events Calander on the website and Accept the in-game Calander.

- If you want to raid, but might be late or may not be online the whole time, sign up and immediately let an officer know and post on the Attendance forums and in the notations on the sign up page on the Event Calander on the guild site.

- If you want to raid, but might be late or may not be online the whole time, do not sign up, post immediately on the Attendance forums and contact an Officer or the Guild Leader immediately.

- The raid leader will form the group based on who logs in on-time from the "Accepted" and "Acknowldeged Attendance" groups. Players entering "Declined" will have secondary priority, but will have priority over raiders who did not use the Event Calander and in-game Calander if their plans change and they become available.

- The raiding week begins every Tuesday. Sign-up for each week's raids ends on the previous Monday each week. Players who sign up before the Monday deadline can change thier availability status up until 1 hour prior to raid time.

Raider Expectations

- If you sign up, then show up. While real life happens, be considerate of everyone’s time. Utilize all of the tools available both in-game and on the website to let an Officer or the Guild Leader know if you will be flaking.

- Don't be on time, be early. Don't expect a summon. Invites Close at 5 minutes prior to raid start time. Raids wait for no one, late raiders will be automatically put on stand-by (earning dkp) unless the raid is not full.

- Come prepared with consumables appropriate for your class for progression content. You are expected to have all stackable consumables running during progression boss fights. Do not rely on someone else to have Feasts or other consumables for you. If you come without flasks and other consumables they will be provided for you at 300 DKP or 50g cost for each flask, 5 stack of potions, or stack of food.

- Be raid spec'd for progression content. Ask your raid leader for advice.

- Follow raid leader instructions at all times. Keep vent channel clear while clearing trash or prepping for and fighting bosses.

- Read up on an event BEFORE coming to raid. Check the raid forums for Raid Leader posted strats.

For raid invite priority and requirements see the "Raid Rules" in the Raider Forums.
